This strong and durable post is manufactured from solid steel and includes our premium internal 7-feet belt mechanism. Shipped in 2 pieces (post and base) to keep freight costs low. Easily assembled with a simple twist of a key (included). Once assembled, post becomes permanently affixed to base and should not be unassembled. One-piece, continuous construction. Belt mechanism is completely concealed within post. Belt mechanism is easily field replaced. Post can receive all major manufacturers belts. Standard 4-way connection allows post to deliver one belt while simultaneously receiving three belts or accessories (except Tempest Post). Belt ends fit on all major manufacturers posts. Unique, centrifugal belt-braking system ensures a slow and safe retraction if accidentally released. Weighted steel base for superior stability (except Tempest). Factory applied, slotted rubberized base protects flooring from damage and promotes air flow, allowing wet floors to dry quickly (except Tempest). Beltloc - automatic belt locking option. Standard on contempo stainless and infinity stainless. Prevents accidental release of belts.
